Local Development

Prerequisites: Ruby and Bundler.

bundle install
bundle exec jekyll serve

Then visit http://localhost:4000.

Writing a New Post

Create a Markdown file in _posts/ with the date prefix:

_posts/2026-02-20-my-new-post.md

Easter Eggs

The site has a retro terminal aesthetic with CRT scanlines, an ASCII avatar, and keyboard navigation (j/k to move, Enter to open). Typing specific key sequences triggers themed color palettes and background music. Themes persist across pages via localStorage — click the theme indicator in the sidebar to clear.
