@logankaser, I've tested it only on RPi Zero and it seems to work fine. We need more beta testers for this and if you could test the changes it would be incredibly awesome. Thank you. |

@logankaser, the current changes bring Alpine 3.8 to RPi 1 (B, B+) and Zero. However, there is a different PR #91 intended for RPi 3. Currently Pieman allows building the images based on Alpine 3.7. It works fine. #91 upgrades Alpine 3.7 to 3.8 in Pieman, but there are some issues related to networking. This is the main reason why the PR hasn't been accepted yet. It would be great if you could test it as well and provide us with feedback. |

@logankaser, if you're still interested in the latest Alpine for your RPi 3, we've just upgraded Alpine from 3.7 to 3.9 for RPi 2 and 3. |
