On macOS, Globus Connect Personal needs Rosetta 2 in order to run. GridFTP is shipped as a universal binary, but the other components are Intel-only. With the release of macOS 27 Beta, users are now seeing notifications of apps that are needing Rosetta in order to run, with a warning that support will end when macOS 28 is released. FD #102221 is the first such ticket that came in to us. (The ticket actually came in to SUL Tech Support, who reached out to us.) So, it's a good idea to make a news post about it. This is that post!
