Overview

LedgerBrain / LedgerCore provides pay-per-use crypto compliance reports over x402. AI agents, payment bots, treasury tools, wallets, marketplaces, and automation systems can:

• Screen a receiving address before sending funds (KYA).
• Review an incoming transaction after receiving a payment (KYT).
• Look up entity due diligence context for a counterparty or exchange (KYE).

Payment is USDC on Base mainnet, handled by x402 v2. No LedgerBrain API key is required for x402 endpoints — the x402 payment is the only gate.

x402 payment flow

1. Send an unpaid POST request to the chosen paid endpoint.
2. Receive HTTP 402 Payment Required with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
3. The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header contains payTo, price, network, and token.
4. Pay in USDC on Base mainnet using your x402-capable client or wallet.
5. Retry the request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header containing the payment proof.
6. Receive the compliance report in the response body.
