This repository accompanies a thesis investigating the adaptation and evaluation of a process-based crop model for intermediate wheatgrass (Thinopyrum intermedium; IWG) — a perennial grain crop under investigation to replace annual cereals in Skåne, Sweden. The model simulates aboveground biomass accumulation, grain filling, and leaf area development under observed (2023–2025) and projected climate scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5), with extensions for water stress, grain fill, and root depth dynamics.
