  • New Launcher cmd 'aok_launcher'. This waits for runlevel default before progressing Allowing for things like clearing /run and updating motd during sysinit before initiating the first session. Will only wait for bootup on the 1st vterm. Before mounting a non AOK-FS, run aok -l default to ensure that a normal FS will boot properly.
  • a tool to configure most aspects of the AOK FS '/usr/local/bin/aok'
  • Removed custom logins, since all are now handled by aok_launcher, and configured via '/usr/local/bin/aok'
  • Updated skels (shell init files), added sys load and batt_lvl to bash & zsh
  • Deploy has been rewritten
  • Added usage of pigz for multithreaded tar/untar - greatly reducing deploy times!
  • New feature: logger
  • New tool in /usr/local/bin/network-check.sh - reports if world and DNS responds
  • /opt/AOK/tools/upgrade_aok_fs.sh - upgrades AOK-FS tools, with param configs, it will also update config files
