invisix uses lists of known ad servers and trackers. It stops your browser from connecting to those servers. This keeps ads and trackers from loading on websites.
This process is automatic and does not require input after setup. invisix intercepts web requests locally before they reach your browser.
invisix updates blocklists regularly to keep blocking new trackers:
- The app checks for updates once a day by default.
- You can update manually in Settings.
- The app will prompt you when a major software update is available on GitHub.
Always keep invisix updated for the best protection.
