This project explores and visualizes Netflix's catalog of movies and TV shows using two datasets sourced from Kaggle. The analysis focuses on content growth, ratings, popularity, genres, global distribution, among others, with the goal of uncovering insights into Netflix's content strategy and viewer trends.

2. Netflix Movies and TV shows till 2025
   • Author: Bhargav Chirumamilla
   • Source: Kaggle Link
   • About: Contains Netflix content data (sourced from TMDb) with extended coverage through 2025, including ratings, popularity, budget, revenue, and metadata.

• Movies dominated the platform, accounting for nearly 70% of the total library.
• “Drama” emerged as the most prevalent genre, followed by Comedy and Documentaries.
• The dominance of these genres reflects Netflix’s focus on globally appealing, story-driven content.
• The library exhibited strong international diversity, with “International Movies” ranking among the top genres.
• Ratings data from the 2025 dataset showed overwhelmingly positive user feedback, with most titles rated between 7 and 8 out of 10.
• A rating of 7 appears to represent the true average across the catalog.
• Analysis revealed a weak correlation between popularity and ratings — highly popular titles are not necessarily the highest-rated.
• Genre blending was common, especially combinations like “Drama, Romance” and “Comedy, Drama.”
• This trend highlights Netflix’s emphasis on diverse storytelling to engage a broad global audience.
