About the studio

DS Laboratory builds games from first principles: owned tools, a hand-written deterministic engine, zero runtime dependencies, and everything documented. One bench, one method, one standard — work that is built rather than assembled.

• Owned — every game runs on our own engine, not a third-party framework.
• Deterministic — a fixed clock; the same input gives the same result, every time. We call it lockstep.
• Self-contained — no accounts, no sign-ups, no ads.
• Documented — every part explains why it exists.
