Cochamó Hippie Hub is an open-source technical NGO platform born in Chilean Patagonia. We design modular, offline-first, low-energy technology for territorial conservation — piloted from the Cochamó municipality, home to one of Latin America's most significant conservation milestones.
We are the technical layer behind Corporación Puelo Patagonia — a nonprofit with 12+ years defending Cochamó's heritage that in December 2025 completed the historic purchase of 133,000 hectares of pristine Patagonian wilderness.
"Conservation can be an opportunity to preserve traditional activities and generate sustainable development opportunities, with impact at both local and global levels."

Our work is documented through extraordinary films. These tell the story of Cochamó's conservation journey — from community resistance to global fundraising victory.

Design principles: Offline-first · Low energy · Modular · Replicable · Open data · Community-centered
The Conserva Pucheguín initiative brought together a remarkable alliance:
We're looking for collaborators in: satellite remote sensing, ecological AI, LoRa/mesh networking, community-driven GIS, and climber safety systems.
"Had it been developed, it would have bifurcated a bunch of protected areas. This is the missing puzzle piece."
— Jeff Parrish, TNC Global Managing Director
