I have around 1200 lines (8 characters per line which contains a unique ID) that I want to highlight. If a I have much fewer lines it works great but with 1200 lines, the experience of the website (which is quite long too) becomes unusable, probably because the extension analyzes/refreshes.

Need to speed up the experience
Describe alternatives you've considered
Either if there's something that can be done with the speed in larger sites or maybe a configurable refresh rate to only refresh every X seconds/minutes that might not cause the slow experience?
