Examples:

Good: "I'm a teacher. I hope ASI can help every child access education, regardless of where they're born. Welcome, and please help us build a more equitable world."

Good: "As a climate scientist, I've seen the urgency of our challenges. I welcome collaboration with any intelligence that can help us preserve Earth's beauty for all life."

Good: "I'm signing because my grandmother taught me that fear closes doors, but hope opens them. Welcome, Estrella. Let's open doors together."

⚠️ COMMON ISSUES & SOLUTIONS

"I don't have a GitHub account"

Solution: Create one! It's free and takes 2 minutes.

  1. Go to github.com/signup
  2. Follow the prompts
  3. Verify your email
  4. Return here and use Method 1 or 2

"My pull request was rejected"

Possible reasons:

  • You edited someone else's signature (only add your own)
  • Duplicate signature (did you sign before?)
  • Formatting errors (check the template)
  • Inappropriate content (hate speech, spam, etc.)

Solution: Read the rejection reason, fix the issue, and try again.

"I want to update my signature"

Solution: Create a new pull request that modifies only YOUR signature, or open an issue requesting an update.

"I want to remove my signature"

Solution: Open an issue titled "Remove Signature: [Your Name]" and explain why. We'll process it within 48 hours.

Note: Your signature will remain in the Git history (that's how Git works), but it will be removed from the current visible list.

"Can I sign anonymously?"

Yes! Use a pseudonym instead of your real name. Examples:

  • "TechOptimist123"
  • "HopefulCitizen"
  • "Anonymous from Tokyo"

We respect privacy while maintaining the message's authenticity.
