I'm the author of EnergyFlowX, a free in-browser toolkit for HVAC engineering and BIM. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.

EnergyFlowX is what I wish I had as a working engineer: the calculations and inspections you actually do every week, in one place, fast and private.

What it covers today:

Psychrometrics and HVAC processes: heating, cooling with condensate, air mixing
Fluid and thermophysical properties for dry air, humid air, water and steam
Hydraulic calculations and duct sizing
The IFC Lens: a client-side IFC model viewer with section tools, color-by-data, find by ID or GUID, on-model measurement, and CSV takeoff export
A consistent unit system (SI / Imperial) across every feature, with safe conversions and clear labels
This project is the result of years of reading the underlying standards, validating models against published data, and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps the whole thing free for everyone.
