I can not answer the question directly, but I know Tesla v2 is fixed with firmware, no mod necessary for that. The resistor mod was for v3 and v4. At least untill Longood made a hardware revision on newer models. How old is your unit? |

I don't know. But IMO, the fw has nothing to do with the resistor mod problem. |

I bought the adapter in august 2024, it is not the very first version, but does probably not have the hardware revision yet, which enabled v3/v4 charging. I havn't tried v3/v4 though. Will try sometime this summer. Thanks for reply! |

You can measure with a multimeter if the adapter is according spec. |

Hi, I wonder whether the resistor mod is still necessary when using the adapter at Tesla chargers? Or does Osexpert's software make charging there possible without the mod?
