Thanks. What car is it? Is it possible to get a log from this car from a successful charging (on any other charger)? |

Fun fact: in January, I was on a road-trip and tried to charge on an old 50kw triple-charger (high amps AC, chademo, ccs). But the app did not manage to authorize charging on the chademo port. Getting desperate and running out of options, I used the adapter with the CCS-Port and the app managed to authorize that right away. 🤷 |

That is indeed funny. ;-) I had a similar experience once where the Chademo plug at an ABB was defective so I had to use the adapter on the CCS. Anyway: osexpert: Here is a log file from Xpeng G3 from a working session on a Kempower charger. Hopefully you have something to compare against the Efacec file as you asked. |

I think I know someone who could check the SX build on his Lexus. The same
person (in Finland I believe) who checked the SS version.

you make newer firmware? Or is it maintained somewhat automatically?"
Not much extra work, there are checks in the code that does different
things based on the "mode". It probably does make the code more confusing
and harder to understand. The different builds basically pre-select the
mode, like a rotating switch could have done the same thing.
"It would indeed be very nice if both Lexus and Xpeng and all the other
cars could use one single fw."
At least if I could remove SS, it would be a good start. Then only need to
know if SX works on Lexus:-) Removing the standard build will be worse:-)

I did a "Sunday afternoon" adapter test drive today in Norway, and boy does it perform well (Clara 336)! Very happy with the release. I went to all the Tesla Superchargers, V2, V3 and V4 = perfect performance. Also Kempower, Delta, ABB and Hyperchargers worked very well. But then I came across an outdated (soon obsolete) 50 kw Garo Efacec charger I wanted to try. And here it did not work (never worked with the original firmware either). I tried all three machines (they were the same) and then I collected log files. I thought maybe you (= osexpert) wanted to have a look. I don't even know if it's worth the effort to try to fix this charger regarding new firmware if there is a chance that it might "break" some other/more important compatibility? This Efacec charger is an old 50 kw which probably all of them also have Chademo anyway. And since you can only charge one car at a time, you would only need to use the adapter if the chademo plug happens to be broken/out of service. So maybe not worth the effort. But feel free to take a look at the log file, as I am also curious what caused the charging session to fail. I could not understand much of the log file other that reading "Difference too big" several places. Any thoughts?
