🐛 Bug Report: Dark mode not persisting across pages

Description

Currently, when dark mode is enabled, it works fine on the current page. However, once the user navigates to another page, the app defaults back to light mode. The dark mode preference is not being stored in local storage.

I'm Sandhya, GSSOC'25 contributor.
