Integration hangs until HA restart

I bought my Niu MC in August last year, and am very happy with the HA integration! However, my experience is that the integration stops receiving/updating data after a while, and the only fix is to restart the entire HA instance. Reloading the the integration is not successful. Is this familiar, and/or is there a fix?

It seems that Niu blocks requests after a certain period. not sure how to solve this :-(. Which version are you using ?

Has same problem with fork work with Chinese niu.

Using 2.1.3.
I've had success reaching out to their customer support before. Have you hailed them for a comment?

Why home assistant restart integration function not working on this intigration? To restart integration need restart all homevassistant.
I think error of getting data in this.

I got the same, on Home Assistant start, the integration works. But breaks sometimes after a day, sometimes after weeks. Only a complete Home Assistant restart resolves this until next time it happens. If it would be possible to reload the integration i would just automate the reload. Problem "solved" but as of now this is not possible.

Sorry I have a new job and the next few month I have nearly time left to look about this. As far as I know the issue with the integration is mostly because niu stop working due the number of request.

IMO the root cause is an unstable API endpoint see: #53 (comment)

We should catch this exception and/or re-authenticate from time to time.
