App Icon

The app icon has been notoriously frustrating since forever.

It does not conform with macOS icon guidelines. I personally have tried countless times to change it - i download a nice icon and apply it to the app. It looks awesome while the app isnt running! When i start the app for some reason the original icon keeps popping up.

This is still true in the latest macOS Tahoe (where non-conforming icons are penalized and are put in a squircle). I can see the main icon being put in a squircle while the app isnt running, but once it runs - still the old icon pops up.

Is this something that can be fixed or is there an actual workaround?
