This software exists to demonstrate the minimal computational backbone behind the Barkley research thesis. It is provided for research, education, and evaluation. It is not a product, service, or production system.
All data in this repository is fully synthetic and deterministically generated
by barkley/synthetic.py. There is no real animal data, no real sensor telemetry,
and no proprietary data of any kind in this codebase.
This software is not a diagnostic tool, not a validated instrument, and not a medical device. It has not been evaluated against any real-world data. Any output is a research result on synthetic data and must not be used to make decisions about the behavior, welfare, or treatment of any animal or person. A qualified professional remains in the loop for any real-world action.
This repository is the minimal backbone of a larger research program. It does not contain, expose, or describe the full Barkley system, its commercial arrangements, or its confidential components. The absence of a component from this repository should not be interpreted as a statement about the broader system.
