IBM AI Builders Challenge Submission Checklist

Deadline: July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET

Required Before Publishing

  • Confirm the project page title is Nexus AI: Career Readiness Coach for College Students
  • Add the live app link: https://jasonbinong.github.io/Nexus-AI/
  • Add the GitHub repository link: https://github.com/jasonbinong/Nexus-AI
  • Add the backend health check link: https://nexus-ai-api-upkl.onrender.com/health
  • Add the portfolio case study link: https://jasonbinong.github.io/nexus-case-study.html
  • Upload or link a public demo video under 3 minutes
  • Explain the problem, target user, AI approach, working demo, and impact
  • Click Publish on the project page before the deadline

Demo Video Checklist

  • 0:00-0:30 introduces Jason and Nexus AI
  • 0:30-1:00 explains the student career-prep problem
  • 1:00-2:30 shows the working dashboard, demo data, coach, weekly plan, resume view, and case study
  • 2:30-3:00 explains impact and next steps
  • Audio is clear
  • Screen text is readable
  • Video is public or unlisted and accessible without login

Final QA

  • Live app opens
  • Load Demo Data works
  • Dashboard score and cards populate
  • Resume view loads
  • Case Study view loads
  • Backend health check returns a successful response
  • README explains the project clearly
