During test playing, the following situation came up:
- The bottommost dealing card (which will eventually be handed to the player who has an advantage because they go last) was revealed, and it was a Jack.
- (Additionally, the topmost card on the table was a Jack, so it was also placed under the dealing stack, face up. But I think this is not relevant to this issue.)
The question now is: Should another card be revealed?
- Rationale: The player in question now has two advantages (being the last player and having a Jack – or two in this case), so the other players should also get the respective number of compensations.
- My gut reaction: Aren't they already punished enough by having the Jack revealed?
Anyhow, the problem is now that I learned this game and the rules from a single person, so I would really like another person to chime in with their opinion.
(It is of course likely that variants of these rules exist, and we might eventually want to be able to configure the rules associated with a given table, but this issue is about finding out what should be a common default rule here.)
