DevCongress Community is for people who want to learn, build, and help each other run better community events. We expect contributors and participants to keep the project welcoming and constructive.
- Be respectful and considerate.
- Give feedback on the work, not the person.
- Assume good intent, and ask clarifying questions when something is unclear.
- Make space for beginners and first-time contributors.
- Document decisions so others can follow the work later.
- Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks.
- Sexualized language or imagery in project spaces.
- Publishing private information without consent.
- Dismissive, hostile, or intentionally exclusionary behavior.
- Repeatedly derailing technical discussions after maintainers redirect the conversation.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, contact the maintainers through the project security/contact channel listed in SECURITY.md. Reports will be handled with care and confidentiality where possible.
Maintainers may remove comments, close issues, block contributors, or take other reasonable action to protect the project community.
