Permission additionnelle — distribution via plateformes d'applications

BamPocket est distribué sous GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 ou ultérieure (« AGPL-3.0-or-later »), dont le texte figure dans le fichier LICENSE.

Le texte ci-dessous accorde une permission additionnelle au titre de la section 7 de l'AGPLv3, afin de permettre la distribution de BamPocket via l'App Store d'Apple et les plateformes analogues (dont les conditions seraient sinon incompatibles avec la Licence).

Additional permission under GNU AGPL version 3 section 7

As an additional permission under section 7 of the GNU Affero General Public License version 3, the copyright holder of BamPocket grants you permission to:

  1. Distribute BamPocket through application-distribution platforms. Convey, distribute, and/or sublicense copies of the Program (in source or object/binary form, including builds you sign and submit) through Apple Inc.'s App Store, TestFlight, and other comparable application-distribution or beta-testing platforms; and

  2. Accept those platforms' terms. Agree to and comply with the standard terms, conditions, and usage rules of such platforms, notwithstanding any of their restrictions that would otherwise be incompatible with the License — including, without limitation, digital-rights-management measures, device-count limitations, and similar usage-control requirements imposed by the platform on the conveyed binaries.

This additional permission applies only to conveyance through such platforms. It does not restrict any right granted by the AGPLv3 with respect to the source code: the corresponding source remains licensed under the GNU AGPL version 3 (or later) per LICENSE, and every recipient retains all rights granted by that License, including the right to obtain, modify, and redistribute the source.

If you redistribute the source code, you may, at your option, keep or remove this additional permission (AGPLv3 §7 allows downstream removal of additional permissions).

ℹ️ Note pratique (pas un conseil juridique). Cette exception suit l'approche reconnue pour publier des logiciels copyleft sur l'App Store (le titulaire des droits accorde une permission §7). Elle n'est valable que parce que tu es seul titulaire des droits sur le code original de BamPocket. Si des contributions externes arrivent, exiger qu'elles soient versées sous la même licence + exception (ou demander un accord), et faire relire le texte par un juriste avant la première soumission App Store. Identifiant SPDX utilisé dans les en-têtes de fichiers : AGPL-3.0-or-later (l'exception §7 est référencée via ce fichier).
