Tag missing for latest released versions + Standard:6.0 missing

Describe the bug
It seems that last night new tags were pushed to ECR (26.03.13). However, no corresponding tag exists here.

Moreover, a public.ecr.aws/codebuild/amazonlinux2-x86_64-standard:6.0-26.03.13 appeared, with no reference on this repository.

Can you please push missing stuff so we can verify the content of the images?

The plot thickens

• they published updates to the public ecr gallery, again only to x86, as -2026.03.25, still no actual movement in this repo or its public forks.

• The aarch64 updates that did go in place in February have corresponding commits here to match the codebuild documentation, but never showed up in the public ecr gallery.

• The Codebuild documentation did update sometime in the last 48 hours, Corretto 25, Python 3.14, and NodeJS 24 are now supported on amazon linux aarch64 3.0, (new) amazon linux x86_64 5.0, and surprisingly (new) ubuntu standard 7.0. I wasn't tracking for changes to other runtimes like go, php, or ruby, so if you've been waiting for something check out https://docs.aws.amazon.com/codebuild/latest/userguide/available-runtimes.html

As I expressed in a support ticket back at the start of the year, the user base wants accurate roadmaps, documentation, and runtime support in a timely fashion soon after the amazon linux team brings in updates. The elastic beanstalk team maintains a public roadmap (elastic-beanstalk-roadmap) I feel it would be useful here.

#811 looked to address some of this, but they've now introduced an aarch64 4.0 into the readme without a corresponding dockerfile @pjotrok @ShinysArc

I would also add #810 to the conversation , given it updated Dockerfiles (tags are still missing on the repo, but at least we have a git commit to see what's been updated)

Well, I guess we're getting somewhere... Or not.

We now have a release and a tag: https://github.com/aws/aws-codebuild-docker-images/releases/tag/26.03.25

AL-x64-standard-5.0 and AL-x64-standard-6.0 are correctly built and existing on ECR. AL-aarch64-4.0... still doesn't exist, nor does exist 3.0-26.03.25 . All the aarch64 images seem to be stuck at one year ago: https://gallery.ecr.aws/codebuild/amazonlinux-aarch64-standard

@pjotrok any insight about this? Do we need to file an AWS Support Case or scale this to our TAM to finally have someone to make order in all of this?

26.05.12 tags have been pushed (yesterday) on ECR, but no traces of those here.
