Code of Conduct for RCT-Reviewer

Our Pledge

In the interest of fostering an open, inclusive, and safe environment, we as contributors and maintainers of RCT-Reviewer pledge to respect all people who engage with our project, including users, contributors, and collaborators.

We commit to creating a community where everyone feels welcome and supported, free from harassment or discrimination.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

  • Respectful and constructive communication
  • Collaboration and teamwork
  • Thoughtful feedback on issues, pull requests, or discussions
  • Respecting the privacy and work of others
  • Acknowledging contributions fairly

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
  • Offensive comments, slurs, or insensitive jokes
  • Public shaming or personal attacks
  • Sharing private or confidential information without consent
  • Misrepresentation of someone else’s work or contributions

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by contacting the project maintainer at:

Reports will be handled confidentially and respectfully.

Enforcement

Maintainers of RCT-Reviewer will review reports and respond appropriately, which may include:

  • Removal of offensive content
  • Temporary or permanent exclusion from the project
  • Guidance or mediation to resolve conflicts

Our goal is always to maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for all contributors and users.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all interactions involving RCT-Reviewer, including:

  • GitHub issues, pull requests, and discussions
  • Zenodo submissions and associated feedback
  • Any communication, online or offline, relating to the project
