IOS 16, safari, video automatically pauses right after hitting play button

Description

On video slider with cover & the overlay play button,
when on IOS devices & safari browser,
clicking play starts playing the video, the immediately stops: https://youtu.be/BVEsVAh3CnI

Its a bit weird. I have tested this on the docs page: https://splidejs.com/extensions/video/
The first example produces the bug. But the second example slider does not.

This happes with both youtube and vimeo.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a video slider on ios device
2. Hit play
3. The sliders pauses immediately after starting to play

Expected Behaviour

The video play continue to play with just one click on overlay play button, like on android or desktop browsers.
