There might be an option in browser settings to give the extension access to local file urls. It might not work though for some files. |

I have a text file that I enter into my brave web browser. I have all the settings enabled including the access file urls. I don't know if this is possible or if I am just missing something. A google search said it should be possible but not working for me. Is there something special I need to do for yomitan to recognize my file and show the popups? For example an html format or does it just not work with files for some reason? Thanks!
I am using brave web browser and I will dop the file I am trying to use.
