I've got a setup with a laptop, dock and 2 monitors hanging off the dock. I'm using the WayBar [TOP & BOT] SummitSplit v2 theme. I have a couple of struggles, I'm hoping to get pointed in the right direction to resolve.
If I select an empty workspace on a monitor, e.g. $mainmod 3 (or using the mouse to click one in the WayBar), and then use $mainmod d the apps menu displays on the 3rd workspace and as I select an App (with the mouse or keyboard), the app launches on a different workspace (and monitor), usually the eDP-1 monitor on my laptop, with workspace 3 is on DP-5 or DP-6 hanging off the dock. Am I doing something wrong?
Without using ngw-displays to bind specific workspaces to monitors, I'm curious if there's a way to move a workspace between monitors. Often things get a little wonky or I do something that workspace I'd like to have on DP-5 on eDP-1, and I can't seem to figure out how to move it back to DP-5.
There are key sequences for navigating and moving windows between workspaces for 1-10 using the number keys. How can I navigate to workspaces 11-15? See the screenshot below of my combined DP-5 and DP6 screens
Lastly, my dock displays often go blank, sometimes its just a flicker, sometimes its for long periods of time. I've looked at ngw-displays when this happens and the monitors are still detected also the led for power is as if they are on and functioning, not blinking whatever when they powersave. Where can I look to see what's going on here? This kind of behavior never happened with X11/Gnome previously.
Thanks for taking a look, really like how this dots setup is put together its been cool to learn my way through all of the nuances and features!
P.S. Yes, I love Eosteric Roach's fractal wall papers.
