Difficulty & modifiers #105

On next map, players should be able to vote for how difficult the next game will be.

Easy: Less zombie spawns, zombies have less health, healing is easier. Daytime is longer and nighttime is shorter. Extra coins are given and materials are easier to obtain, etc.
Normal: The current zombie gamemode.
Hard: Zombies deal extra damage, have higher health, and can move faster. Daytime is shorter, nighttime is longer. Coins are harder to obtain and materials are harder to obtain, etc.

Modifiers can also be chosen as trade-offs for that game, such as:

  • 1 zombie can be disabled (ie: greg, worm) but the rest of the zombies gain 25% extra damage and health
  • Extra materials from all sources but less coin gain
  • Slower block placement but higher coin gain from all sources

Just a few examples posted here. Could be something worthwhile if implemented properly.
