Effective Date: March 28, 2026 Developer: ChaseCarHG on Github
• This Privacy Policy applies solely to NightscoutTV for Roku.
• It is independent of, and makes no consideration for, the privacy policies of Roku, GitHub, the Nightscout Project, the Nightscout Foundation, or any other third party.
We encourage you to review those policies separately, as they govern their respective platforms and services.
NightscoutTV does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data, usage data, diagnostic data, or analytics with the developer or the developer community.
All configuration data you enter — including your Nightscout URL and access token — is stored exclusively on your own Roku device using the Roku registry.
This data never leaves your device except as part of direct API requests made by the app to your own Nightscout server instance, which you own and control.
NightscoutTV acknowledges that downloading the software from GitHub or installing it from the Roku Channel Store may involve data collection by those respective platforms, governed entirely by their own privacy policies.
Such incidental data exposure is beyond the scope of this policy and outside the developer's control.
NightscoutTV displays glucose and treatment data retrieved directly from your personal Nightscout server.
This data is fetched in real time and displayed on screen. It is not cached beyond the current session, not transmitted to any third party, and not accessible to the developer in any form.
You are encouraged to optionally participate in the NightscoutTV project at:
https://github.com/ChaseCarHG/NightscoutTV
Participation — including filing issues, submitting pull requests, or engaging in discussions — is entirely voluntary.
Any information you share there is governed by GitHub's Privacy Policy.
If this policy changes materially, an updated version will be posted to the NightscoutTV GitHub repository with a revised effective date.
For questions about this privacy policy, open an issue at the NightscoutTV GitHub project site.
