This document provides complete reference tables for programming messages and understanding the vocabulary available in app_rpt__ultra.
All voice recordings in this system are high-fidelity captures from a Texas Instruments TMS5220 speech synthesizer, sourced from an Advanced Computer Controls (ACC) RC-850 controller (version 3.8, late serial number).
The recordings were captured using audio-in to a PC with Audacity and are stored in μ-law companding algorithm 8-bit PCM format (.ulaw files) - the same format used by Asterisk for telephony audio.
This gives the system its distinctive, nostalgic voice quality reminiscent of classic repeater controllers from the 1980s-2000s.
